Une Pause

A nourishing space for reflection, expression and intentional living.

What are you grateful for today?

No, this post isn’t motivated by the fact that it’s Thanksgiving this week (and thus, a short work week!). I attended a family dinner yesterday and realized all that went into putting the event together – a kitchen full of food, family member’s help, and a big heart with generosity in its core.

I showed up as a different person yesterday – grounded, unafraid, and rooted securely in the knowledge that I am enough – and I guess that energy buzzed all around me last evening. People treated me differently (in a good way), and I seemed to command respect – as if the change within my aura prompted folks to recognize and act upon what they felt and experienced.

We have endless capacity to grow, change, empower, and improve our lives. We are the authors of our lives – we call the shots! I’m grateful for my growth and ability to morph into better versions of myself.

Human capability really is a miracle. All we need to do is allow ourselves to move forward and give ourselves permission to keep seeking what feels right. No judgements, no need for validation, no fear.

The featured image is a trinket my husband and I picked up in Santa Barbara, California a few months ago. We keep it in our living room to remind us to send gratitude to the Universe for its bounty and abundance of blessings, which will only attract more bounty and blessings in return – for the Universe sends to you that which you embody, desire, and attract. I hope this season continues to shower its endless good vibes and positivity on us all.

I’m grateful to be on this spiritual journey. What are you grateful for today?
